- Visual improvements to the built landscape are now demanded in most developments and there is also a greater awareness of the safety for pedestrians in town centres. We contribute to both with hard and soft landscaping and associated engineering to private facilities and the public streetscape. Working closely with all Stakeholders, particularly Statutory Authorities and traffic police, we aim to minimise disruption by phasing and programming our works in detail.

- Structures both below and above ground have been constructed for a variety of projects including water & effluent retention, bridges, pedestrian underpasses, heavy foundations and car parking. Techniques used incorporate well point dewatering, cofferdams, temporary sheet piling, permanent load bearing pile construction and bentonite cut off walls. Increasingly we are involved with the practical aspects of design at the pre-tender stage making best use of our wealth of experience.

- Ashridge has been involved in a wide range of Car Park projects specialising in making best use of the land for our clients. This work has included Grade level car parking, decked car parking and Park & Ride schemes. With schemes in such diverse locations as cemeteries, shopping centres and out of town park & ride. We have been involved in Design & Build procurement together with the more conventional approach, always being available to resolve buildability issues early on in the design stage. Schemes have featured Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDs) together with water treatment using environmental reed bed technology.
