TESCO READING - Once Tesco gained planning permission to build a new store and housing on the old Battle Hospital site in Reading and following a successful tendering process, Kier awarded the highways works to Ashridge.
Works commenced in June 2007 and were completed in February 2008 for the construction of the main access to the new store and housing. This consisted of a seven metre wide dual carriageway with further access roads and associated traffic signals.
This was Ashridge's initial contract with the Kier Group and as a result of our outstanding performance we have since been awarded further works with Kier most recently the construction of new car parks at Vodafone HQ in Newbury.
