Ashridge adds 3 Doosan Excavators to Plant Fleet
Ashridge has recently added a further 3 Doosan Excavators to the Plant Hire Fleet.

- Two x Doosan DX140LCR Hydraulic Excavators with zero tail swing; fitted with hydraulic circuit for hydraulic breakers and pile driver.
- One x Doosan DX225LC SL Hydraulic Excavator with 2 piece boom; Prolec weight indicator; fitted with hydraulic circuit for breaker and pile driver.
Both with a new "Common Rail" engine and new e-EPOS controlled hydraulic system combining to create unbeatable hydraulic excavators.

Full 3 tonne four-wheel drive compact dumper
A full 3 tonne four-wheel drive compact dumper, with Powerswivel skip. Yanmar 3TNV88 24.8 kW/33bhp three cylinder water-cooled low-noise diesel. Totally enclosed multi-plate oil-immensed brakes. Thwaites Kinglink chassis for superior stability and traction.

New Volvo EC35s added to fleet
Ashridge made a long term investment with the purchase of two new Volvo EC35 3.5 tonne compact excavators, fitted with automatic hydraulic hitches. These replaced two hired machines in the plant fleet. Both machines have a Volvo HB200Ln hydraulic breaker fitted.
The Volvo EC35 compact exavator features a short stroke lever combined with ergonomically designed armrest which provides a resting position for the wrist , reducing fatigue during machine operation. The power-assisted boom offset hand control provides precision and smoothness while digging alongside a wall with increased efficiency.
Standard features include a control pattern change lever to convert instantly from excavator style to backhoe style controls.
The hydraulic system offers unique smoothness of operation combined with impressive digging force. Break out and tear out forces are some of the highest in the industry giving high work efficiency even in the most difficult ground.
New Volvo ECR145CL
Ashridge has added a new Volvo ECR145CL reduced swing excavator to its plant fleet. The new ECR145CL brings the total number of Volvo excavators in Ashridge's fleet to twenty. With a well balanced weight distribution and exceptional swing torque, the 14 tonne class ECR145CL is excellent for working in confined areas and sets new standards for not only lifting capacity but also stability - especially important in loading applications. With a compact superstructure its rear swings only 230mm outside its own track width. This means that the excavator can get extremely close to objects such as walls and trees without risk of collision as the machine swings in its digging cycle.
